NGT STRATEGY 4.8 – TRADINGVIEW & BITGET SETUP GUIDE
How to Install, Configure and Automate NGT Strategy with Bitget
The NEXT GEN TRADE STRATEGY BITGET 4.8 can be used directly on TradingView and connected to the Bitget Futures Signal Bot for automated trade execution.
Once correctly configured, the complete system works automatically:
NGT Strategy on TradingView → TradingView Alert → Bitget Webhook → Bitget Futures Signal Bot → Automated Trade Execution
NGT Strategy can automatically manage:
- Initial LONG Entry
- Safety Order 1
- Safety Order 2
- Safety Order 3
- Smart DCA Protection
- Profit exits
- Maximum Profit Target
- Optional advanced emergency exits
- Full-position closing signals
- Optional scheduled manual LONG actions
The Bitget version generates the appropriate BUY and SELL webhook messages directly for the strategy’s entries, Safety Orders and exits.
1. BEFORE YOU START
You will need:
- an active TradingView account
- access to NEXT GEN TRADE STRATEGY BITGET 4.8
- a TradingView plan that supports webhook notifications
- Two-Factor Authentication enabled on TradingView
- a Bitget account
- USDT available for the Futures Signal Bot
- a supported Bitget USDT-M Perpetual trading pair
TradingView currently lists webhook notifications from the Essential plan upward, and TradingView requires 2FA before webhook alerts can be used.
Bitget’s Futures Signal Bot is designed to automate USDT-M perpetual futures strategies from TradingView webhook signals.
IMPORTANT — USE ONE-WAY MODE
Bitget states that TradingView signal trading through its Futures Signal Bot supports One-Way Mode, not Hedge Mode.
NGT Strategy Bitget 4.8 is a LONG strategy and should therefore be operated with the Bitget Signal Bot according to this One-Way configuration.
2. ACTIVATE YOUR NGT STRATEGY ACCESS ON TRADINGVIEW
The NGT Strategy is provided through TradingView as an Invite-Only script.
After your Free Trial or paid NGT subscription has been activated, access is granted to the TradingView username you provided.
TradingView displays the Invite-only scripts section after the author has granted your TradingView account access to at least one Invite-Only script.
To add the strategy:
1. Open TradingView Supercharts
2. Click Indicators, Metrics & Strategies
3. Open Invite-only scripts
4. Find:
NEXT GEN TRADE STRATEGY BITGET 4.8
5. Click the strategy to add it to your chart
3. SELECT THE CORRECT BITGET MARKET
This step is extremely important.
Use a Bitget USDT-M Perpetual Futures pair as the price source on TradingView.
For example:
BTCUSDT.P — BITGET
or the corresponding Bitget perpetual market for the instrument you want to automate.
Bitget specifically recommends using its own USDT-M perpetual futures market as the TradingView price source when operating the Futures Signal Bot.
The TradingView pair and the Bitget bot pair must match.
If you create a Bitget Signal Bot for BTCUSDT but your TradingView NGT Strategy is running on ETHUSDT, the configuration is incorrect.
4. USE STANDARD CANDLESTICKS
We recommend using the NGT Strategy on a normal TradingView:
Candles / Candlestick chart
Avoid synthetic chart types such as:
- Heikin Ashi
- Renko
- Kagi
- Range
- Point & Figure
NGT Strategy uses actual price and candle information as part of its trading and reversal logic, including bullish-candle and previous-high recovery conditions.
5. RECOMMENDED CHART TIMEFRAME
Recommended chart timeframe: 3 MINUTES
NGT Strategy is a Multi-Timeframe Trading System.
The strategy internally analyzes several different timeframes, so you do not need to manually switch charts.
The current configuration includes RSI calculations for:
- 4H
- 2H
- 1H
- 3-minute
- 5-minute
while the long-term trend filter uses daily data.
The 3-minute RSI is used as the main lower-timeframe entry trigger, while higher-timeframe filters determine whether the market is suitable for a new LONG entry.
For this reason, we recommend running NGT Strategy on a:
3-MINUTE BITGET USDT-M PERPETUAL CHART
6. SET THE STRATEGY START TIME
Before creating the TradingView automation alert, open:
NGT Strategy → Settings → Inputs → Strategy Start Time
Enable:
Enable scheduled strategy start
Then configure:
Strategy start date and time
NGT Strategy will not allow new strategy trading actions before this configured start time.
Recommended setup
When creating a completely new Bitget automation, set the Strategy Start Time approximately:
5–10 minutes into the future
This gives you time to finish:
- NGT settings
- Bitget Signal configuration
- TradingView alert configuration
- Bitget bot creation
TradingView creates an independent server-side copy of the strategy when a strategy alert is created. That copy calculates historical data first and then continues in realtime.
Using a fresh future start time helps ensure that your live automation starts from a clean NGT cycle rather than from an older theoretical position.
7. CREATE A FUTURES SIGNAL ON BITGET
Log in to Bitget.
Navigate to the trading bot section and select:
Bots → Futures Signal
Then choose:
Create Signal
Create a recognizable Signal Name.
For example:
NGT 4.8 BTCUSDT
or:
NGT STRATEGY ETHUSDT
You can also add an optional description.
Bitget’s current setup process begins by creating the signal, then connecting the TradingView alert through Bitget’s webhook URL and message template.
8. COPY THE BITGET WEBHOOK URL
After creating the signal, Bitget provides a unique:
Webhook URL
Copy this URL.
You will later paste it into:
TradingView Alert → Notifications → Webhook URL
KEEP YOUR WEBHOOK URL PRIVATE
Do not publish or share your Bitget Webhook URL.
Bitget warns that the webhook URL should remain private because unauthorized signals sent to it could result in unintended trading actions.
9. COPY THE BITGET MESSAGE TEMPLATE
Bitget will also provide a:
Message Template
Copy the complete Message Template exactly as provided by Bitget.
Bitget specifically recommends that the message template not be modified because it is critical for correctly interpreting TradingView strategy signals.
This Message Template will now be entered into the NGT Strategy.
10. CONFIGURE THE BITGET SIGNAL BOT SECTION IN NGT
Return to TradingView.
Open:
NGT Strategy → Settings → Inputs → Bitget Signal Bot
You will see:
Bitget Webhook URL – reminder only
and:
Bitget Message Template JSON
The current Bitget version contains these fields specifically for Bitget Signal Bot integration.
11. BITGET WEBHOOK URL – REMINDER ONLY
You may paste your Bitget webhook URL into:
Bitget Webhook URL – reminder only
This field is only provided as a convenient reference inside NGT Strategy.
IT DOES NOT SEND THE WEBHOOK.
The real webhook URL must still be entered later in:
TradingView → Create Alert → Notifications → Webhook URL
This distinction is important.
12. PASTE THE BITGET MESSAGE TEMPLATE INTO NGT
Paste the complete Message Template generated by Bitget into:
Bitget Message Template JSON
NGT Strategy uses this template as the basis for its automated order messages.
The strategy dynamically replaces the TradingView placeholders with the actual order information, including:
- order action
- number of contracts
- current market position
- position size
- previous market position
- price
- symbol
- time
The Bitget-specific message builder performs these substitutions automatically for every order generated by NGT.
IMPORTANT
Use the Message Template generated for your own Bitget Signal.
Do not copy another user’s Bitget webhook configuration.
13. SET THE INITIAL ORDER VALUE
Open:
NGT Strategy → Settings → Trade Settings
Find:
Initial order value / USDT notional
Default value:
55 USDT
The value entered here represents the desired USDT notional value of the order.
NGT then converts this value into the token/coin quantity sent to Bitget.
The strategy is specifically designed around Bitget’s USDT-M convention that one contract represents one token/coin unit, so NGT calculates the contract quantity from the selected USDT notional and current price.
For example:
Initial Order Value = 100 USDT
Asset Price = 50,000 USDT
Approximate quantity:
100 ÷ 50,000 = 0.002 contracts
The actual order remains subject to Bitget’s minimum and maximum order-size requirements. Bitget applies the normal Futures order restrictions to orders received through the Signal Bot.
14. CONTRACT QUANTITY STEP
Immediately below the Initial Order Value you will find:
Contract qty step – round down
Default:
0.0001
NGT uses this setting to round the calculated quantity down before creating the order.
Different Bitget instruments may have different allowed quantity increments.
Therefore, before automating a new market, check that the selected value is suitable for the Bitget contract you intend to trade.
An incorrect or excessively small order quantity can cause Bitget to reject the order. Bitget lists minimum order size and other contract restrictions among the possible causes of webhook execution problems.
15. SAFETY ORDER SETTINGS
NGT Strategy Bitget 4.8 includes three independent Safety Orders.
The current default settings are:
SAFETY ORDER 1
Enabled: Yes
Price Drop: 1.0% from Initial Entry
Size Multiplier: 1.2×
RSI: Closed 1H RSI below/around the configured oversold level
Default RSI Level: 30
Reversal Candle Timeframe: 15 minutes
Maximum Rebound: 0.5%
SAFETY ORDER 2
Enabled: Yes
Price Drop: 4.0% from SO1 Entry
Size Multiplier: 1.2×
RSI Timeframe: 2H
Default RSI Level: 30
Reversal Candle Timeframe: 1H
Maximum Rebound: 0.5%
SAFETY ORDER 3
Enabled: Yes
Price Drop: 8.0% from SO2 Entry
Size Multiplier: 1.2×
RSI Timeframe: 4H
Default RSI Level: 30
Reversal Candle Timeframe: 1H
Maximum Rebound: 0.5%
These are the defaults currently built into NGT Strategy Bitget 4.8.
16. A SAFETY ORDER IS NOT JUST A PRICE-DROP ORDER
An NGT Safety Order does not immediately execute simply because price has reached the configured percentage drop.
The price drop first arms the Safety Order.
Execution then requires confirmation from the strategy’s reversal logic, including RSI behavior and at least one accepted reversal candle condition.
The available reversal confirmations include:
- Hammer / Bullish Pin Bar
- Bullish Engulfing
- Close above the previous candle high
NGT also contains maximum-rebound protection designed to prevent a delayed Safety Order from executing too far above its original trigger area.
17. CALCULATE YOUR TOTAL POSSIBLE EXPOSURE
Before starting the bot, calculate how much capital can be deployed if all Safety Orders execute.
For example:
Initial Order:
100 USDT
Safety Order multiplier:
1.2×
Then:
Initial Entry = 100 USDT
SO1 = 120 USDT
SO2 = 120 USDT
SO3 = 120 USDT
Maximum planned notional allocation:
460 USDT
This is before leverage, fees, funding and execution differences are considered.
Always size the Initial Order according to the maximum total exposure you are prepared to accept.
18. SMART DCA PROTECTION
The current strategy enables:
Smart DCA Trend Protection
by default.
The default Protection Mode is:
BALANCED
The strategy itself identifies Balanced as its recommended default mode.
The available modes are:
Conservative
Stronger higher-timeframe protection and stricter recovery requirements.
Balanced
Recommended general configuration.
Aggressive
Allows confirmed Safety Orders to be released sooner following deep or prolonged declines.
Even in the Aggressive configuration, the normal RSI and reversal confirmation logic remains part of Safety Order execution.
For new users, we recommend starting with:
BALANCED
19. EXIT SETTINGS
The current default exit settings are:
Minimum Profit
0.2%
Maximum Profit Target
Enabled
Default:
1.0%
There is also an optional:
After SO2/SO3: exit directly at minimum profit without RSI
function.
This is disabled by default. When enabled after SO2/SO3, NGT can create a full-position target at the selected minimum-profit level instead of requiring the normal 5-minute RSI exit condition.
20. IMPORTANT DIFFERENCE — BITGET EXECUTES WEBHOOK ORDERS AS MARKET ORDERS
The NGT Strategy may internally use a TradingView limit order for its optional SO2/SO3 direct minimum-profit target.
However, the actual Bitget Futures Signal Bot does not place that resting limit order on the exchange.
Instead:
1. NGT creates and monitors the target inside TradingView
2. TradingView considers the strategy order filled when its target is reached
3. The strategy alert is triggered
4. Bitget receives the SELL signal
5. Bitget executes the Signal Bot order as a MARKET order
Bitget’s documentation states that Futures Signal Bot orders received from TradingView are executed as market orders and that limit orders are not currently supported by this webhook bot workflow.
Therefore, the real Bitget closing price may differ from the TradingView target price.
Market volatility, latency and slippage can create differences between TradingView strategy results and actual exchange execution.
21. ADVANCED EMERGENCY EXIT
NGT Strategy also contains an optional:
Advanced Emergency Exit System
It is:
DISABLED BY DEFAULT
The system can use additional protection logic including:
- 4H weakness warning
- 4H support-break detection
- rebound detection
- maximum-loss protection
- confirmed 1D trend break
The corresponding default emergency parameters are contained in the strategy but the entire module remains inactive until the user enables it.
Only enable this module after you understand how it can affect normal trade exits.
22. CREATE THE TRADINGVIEW ALERT
Once all NGT settings are final, click:
Create Alert
Under:
Condition
select:
NEXT GEN TRADE STRATEGY BITGET 4.8
Then select:
ORDER FILLS ONLY
TradingView supports Order fills only for strategy alerts, meaning the alert triggers when an order generated by the strategy is filled.
This is the appropriate configuration for NGT because its Bitget trading messages are attached directly to strategy orders.
23. ALERT MESSAGE — ENTER THIS EXACTLY
In the TradingView Alert:
Message
field enter:
{{strategy.order.alert_message}}
Do not add additional text before or after it.
NGT Strategy Bitget 4.8 is specifically configured to use this TradingView placeholder.
TradingView’s {{strategy.order.alert_message}} placeholder returns the value stored in the Pine strategy order’s alert_message field.
This allows a single TradingView alert to transmit the correct dynamic Bitget message for:
- Initial BUY
- SO1 BUY
- SO2 BUY
- SO3 BUY
- normal SELL exit
- emergency SELL exit
- supported manual actions
24. ENTER THE BITGET WEBHOOK URL
Inside the TradingView alert, open:
Notifications
Enable:
Webhook URL
Paste the URL generated by your Bitget Futures Signal.
The final configuration should be:
Condition
NEXT GEN TRADE STRATEGY BITGET 4.8
Trigger
Order fills only
Message
{{strategy.order.alert_message}}
Webhook URL
Your unique Bitget Webhook URL
TradingView sends webhook alerts using HTTP POST, and valid JSON alert messages are sent with an application/json content type.
25. ONE BITGET WEBHOOK = ONE TRADINGVIEW ALERT
DO NOT CONNECT MULTIPLE TRADINGVIEW ALERTS TO THE SAME WEBHOOK URL.
Bitget explicitly states that each webhook should be configured with only one TradingView alert. Multiple alerts connected to the same webhook can result in abnormal order execution.
For a clean NGT configuration, use:
1 Trading Pair → 1 TradingView Strategy Instance → 1 TradingView Alert → 1 Bitget Webhook Signal
26. RETURN TO BITGET AND CREATE THE FUTURES SIGNAL BOT
After the TradingView alert has been created, return to Bitget.
Create the bot using the signal you configured.
Bitget’s setup process includes:
1. Select the trading pair
Choose the exact market that matches your TradingView strategy.
2. Select the Signal Following Mode
Choose how Bitget should synchronize itself with the TradingView strategy.
3. Select Leverage
Choose the leverage you want the Bitget Signal Bot to use.
4. Deposit / Allocate Margin
Allocate sufficient capital to the bot.
5. Create the Bot
Once created, Bitget begins processing valid signals received through the connected TradingView webhook.
27. WHICH SIGNAL FOLLOWING MODE SHOULD YOU CHOOSE?
Bitget provides different ways to begin following a TradingView strategy.
For a fresh NGT installation, we recommend:
FOLLOW FROM THE FIRST SIGNAL
when all of the following are true:
- Bitget has no existing position for this NGT bot
- NGT Strategy has no active live position
- you have set a fresh Strategy Start Time
- you are starting a completely new trading cycle
Bitget explains that this mode begins following signals immediately from the first received signal.
IF TRADINGVIEW ALREADY SHOWS AN EXISTING THEORETICAL POSITION
Do not blindly start in the middle of that trade.
Bitget also offers a mode that waits until the existing TradingView theoretical position has closed before following subsequent signals. This is designed to help synchronize Bitget with the strategy rather than entering halfway through an existing theoretical trade.
This is another reason we recommend using the NGT Strategy Start Time when creating a fresh automation.
28. SET LEVERAGE AND BOT CAPITAL ON BITGET
Leverage is configured on the Bitget Futures Signal Bot, not inside the NGT webhook message.
During bot creation, Bitget asks you to select leverage and allocate the margin used by the bot.
The NGT Strategy controls the target TradingView order quantity.
Bitget controls the actual exchange execution according to:
- available bot capital
- selected leverage
- market conditions
- contract restrictions
- risk limits
Avoid excessive leverage.
Increasing leverage increases both capital efficiency and liquidation risk.
29. USE TRADINGVIEW SIGNAL MODE FOR NGT
For NGT Strategy, the most logical Bitget investment/order-sizing configuration is the mode that follows the TradingView strategy’s transmitted position information.
Bitget describes TradingView Signal Mode as using the transmitted positionSize to determine the target position, comparing it with the existing position and placing the necessary adjustment order.
NGT’s Bitget message generator explicitly sends:
marketPositionpositionSizeprevMarketPosition- contract quantity
and dynamically updates these values for Initial Entry, Safety Orders and exits.
This architecture is particularly useful for maintaining synchronization between the TradingView strategy and the Bitget bot.
30. OPTIONAL MANUAL LONG MARKET ACTIONS
The Bitget edition of NGT Strategy 4.8 includes an additional feature that is not part of the basic automatic strategy workflow:
MANUAL LONG MARKET ORDERS
There are 6 configurable one-time action slots.
Each slot can be configured as:
BUY LONG
Opens a new LONG position or increases the existing LONG position.
SELL / REDUCE LONG
Reduces the current LONG position by the selected amount.
It is designed not to intentionally open a SHORT position.
CLOSE ALL LONG
Closes the entire strategy LONG position.
The USDT amount is ignored when CLOSE ALL LONG is selected.
31. HOW TO USE A MANUAL ACTION
For each Manual Action slot configure:
Action
Example:
BUY LONG
Time
Set a future execution time.
USDT
Set the desired USDT notional amount where applicable.
The default execution window is:
10 MINUTES
If the configured action cannot run during its allowed execution window, it is skipped.
IMPORTANT
These are scheduled strategy actions, not clickable TradingView buttons.
Configure them before creating the active TradingView strategy alert.
The same Order fills only alert used for normal NGT automation also transmits these manual strategy orders to Bitget.
32. IF YOU CHANGE A MANUAL ACTION, UPDATE YOUR ALERT
TradingView creates a separate server-side copy of the strategy when the alert is created.
Changing the NGT Strategy settings on your visible chart afterward does not automatically change the strategy copy already running inside the existing alert.
Therefore, if you configure or modify a manual action after the alert was created, you must ensure that the running alert is recreated or correctly updated with the latest strategy settings.
For maximum reliability, we recommend:
1. Stop/delete the existing TradingView alert
2. Configure the Manual Action
3. Verify all NGT settings
4. Create a fresh TradingView alert
33. IF YOU CHANGE ANY NGT SETTING
This rule applies not only to Manual Actions.
If you change:
- Initial Order Value
- Contract Quantity Step
- Safety Order settings
- DCA settings
- RSI settings
- Exit settings
- Advanced Emergency Exit settings
- Message Template
- Strategy Start Time
- manual actions
- trading pair
- chart timeframe
- other strategy inputs
you should recreate the TradingView strategy alert.
TradingView states that strategy alerts operate from their own server-side copy and changes made to the strategy on the chart do not automatically modify that copy.
Bitget likewise recommends updating the strategy alert whenever TradingView strategy settings or order-size parameters change.
34. DO NOT MODIFY THE BITGET MESSAGE TEMPLATE
This deserves special emphasis:
COPY THE BITGET MESSAGE TEMPLATE EXACTLY.
NGT dynamically fills the required variables, but the basic Bitget template should come from your own Bitget Signal Bot configuration.
Bitget specifically states that modifying the webhook message template is not recommended because correct template parameters are critical for order execution.
If the template is incorrect, the Bitget Signal Log may show missing or invalid parameters and the order may fail.
35. TEST WITH A SMALL ORDER SIZE FIRST
Before running NGT with your intended normal trading capital:
TEST THE COMPLETE SYSTEM WITH A SMALL POSITION SIZE.
Bitget itself recommends testing strategies with small amounts before deploying substantial live funds.
Verify that:
- NGT generates the strategy order
- TradingView generates the alert
- the webhook is delivered
- Bitget receives the signal
- Bitget opens the correct LONG
- the order quantity is correct
- SO1 increases the position correctly
- SO2 increases the position correctly
- SO3 increases the position correctly
- an NGT SELL signal closes the correct position
Do not increase your normal position size until the complete signal chain has been verified.
36. MONITOR THE BITGET SIGNAL LOG
Bitget provides signal details and logs where you can inspect the signals received from TradingView.
If TradingView reports an alert but Bitget does not execute the trade, check:
Bitget → Signal Details / Signal Log
This can help identify problems involving:
- incorrect parameters
- insufficient balance
- invalid trading pair
- risk limits
- quantity restrictions
- delayed signals
- incorrect message template
Bitget documents these as possible causes of Signal Bot execution failures.
37. DO NOT MANUALLY MODIFY THE BOT POSITION WITHOUT A REASON
NGT Strategy keeps its own internal position state.
It tracks:
- Initial Entry
- SO1
- SO2
- SO3
- position quantity
- average position price
- exit state
The strategy sends updated position information to Bitget during each automated action.
If you manually alter the actual Bitget bot position while NGT believes something different exists on TradingView, the two systems can become temporarily unsynchronized.
Avoid manually changing an automated NGT position unless you understand how you will subsequently restore synchronization.
38. USING NGT ON MULTIPLE BITGET PAIRS
Create a separate clean automation for each pair.
For example:
BTCUSDT
TradingView:
BITGET BTCUSDT Perpetual → NGT Strategy → TradingView Alert
Bitget:
BTC Signal → BTC Futures Signal Bot
ETHUSDT
TradingView:
BITGET ETHUSDT Perpetual → NGT Strategy → TradingView Alert
Bitget:
ETH Signal → ETH Futures Signal Bot
Remember that Bitget requires each webhook to be connected to only one TradingView alert.
39. DOES TRADINGVIEW NEED TO REMAIN OPEN?
No.
Once the TradingView strategy alert has been created, its server-side copy runs independently of the chart in your browser.
However, automated trading should still be monitored regularly.
Check:
- TradingView Alert status
- Bitget Signal status
- Signal Logs
- available margin
- open positions
- rejected orders
- liquidation risk
- synchronization between TradingView and Bitget
40. COMMON PROBLEMS
TRADINGVIEW GENERATES NO NEW ENTRY
Check:
- Strategy Start Time
- Entry Status Table
- 1D trend filter
- 4H trend
- 1H trend
- 3-minute entry RSI
- Resistance Warning filter
- whether an NGT position is already open
NGT’s Entry Status Table is specifically designed to show the conditions currently allowing or blocking a new LONG entry.
TRADINGVIEW ALERTS, BUT BITGET DOES NOT TRADE
Check:
- Bitget Webhook URL
- Bitget Message Template
- correct USDT-M pair
- One-Way Mode
- whether the Bitget Signal Bot is running
- available margin
- order quantity
- quantity increment
- leverage/risk limits
- Bitget Signal Log
Bitget lists incorrect parameters, insufficient balance, unsupported pairs and risk-limit issues among the potential causes of failed webhook orders.
WRONG POSITION SIZE
Check:
Initial order value / USDT notional
and:
Contract qty step – round down
NGT is not intended to simply send the USDT number as the number of contracts.
It calculates the token/coin quantity required for the selected USDT notional.
I CHANGED THE STRATEGY SETTINGS BUT NOTHING CHANGED IN THE BOT
The existing TradingView strategy alert is still using the settings captured when that alert was created.
Delete/recreate the strategy alert using the new settings.
THE CHART SHOWS OLD TRADES BUT BITGET DID NOT EXECUTE THEM
This is normal.
TradingView does not send strategy alerts for historical order fills. Strategy alerts begin generating notifications for qualifying realtime order fills after the alert is running.
THE BITGET EXIT PRICE IS DIFFERENT FROM TRADINGVIEW
Bitget Signal Bot executes received TradingView signals as market orders.
Therefore the final exchange execution price can differ from the TradingView strategy price due to market movement, latency, spread and slippage.
A TradingView backtest or strategy fill price should not be interpreted as a guarantee of the exact live Bitget execution price.
41. QUICK SETUP CHECKLIST
